Q: How long is my appointment?

Plan to be at the clinic for 1-2 hours. This includes time with the clinician, a dating ultrasound if needed, and receiving medications for the following day.

Q: Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a partner, friend, or family member to your appointment for support.

Costs & Payment

Q: How much does it cost?

We charge up to $490, but you tell us what you can afford based on your income and you can pay what you can. No one will be refused services for inability to pay.

When you schedule, we'll ask two quick questions about your income. No proof of income is required - we trust you to pay what works for you.

We accept: debit cards, major credit cards, and cash.

Q: How do I know if I'm pregnant?

Take a pregnancy test first. To estimate how far along you are:

Count weeks from the first day of your last period

Get an ultrasound (most reliable method)

If you had sex once: count weeks since that day and add two

If you have irregular periods, use hormonal birth control, or are breastfeeding, we recommend an ultrasound before traveling long distances to confirm you're under 12 weeks.

Q: How many weeks pregnant should I be?

We recommend waiting until you're at least 6 weeks pregnant at your appointment. The pills are most effective (97-98% success) at this stage.

Q: Are abortion pills safe?

Yes, medication abortion is extremely safe. Complications are rare and similar to those with miscarriage. Childbirth is statistically more dangerous than medication abortion.

Q: How effective are abortion pills?

97-98% effective for people 6-11 weeks pregnant

Less effective (85%) if taken before 5 weeks

Q: Do I need a blood type test?

No, blood tests and Rhogam shots are not medically necessary for pregnancies under 12 weeks.

Q: Can I drive after my appointment?

Yes. You'll take mifepristone at your appointment - most people have no side effects other than occasional light bleeding.
